Fast Company Magazine App App Reviews

Beautiful app, but eats up space

I really do love this app, but having only used it a few times my iPad says its using 600 MB of space. Only one of my games surpasses that amount of data space, which is a red flag. Hopefully FC developers can optimize its footprint. Once I run out of space this may be the first casualty...

Great, but occupies huge space.

Great content - and not just a rehash of physical FC paper publication! I was sold on it until I happened this morning to check the free space left on my poor old iPhone 4s which had almost all storage already filled - to discover FC took it down to nearly zero free space! Deleting FC app AND data brought back nearly a half GB of vital free space. Dont get me wrong - on a phone with much more storage it wouldnt be a problem. And I found this new FC product with its own unique and useful content enough that I plan to upgrade to a newer model iPhone.

Pretty good enhancements, could use a couple of tweaks

I really enjoy reading FC and, as of the end of June, I can read the current issues for free. Cost aside, the design of this app is incredibly smooth and works brilliantly on my iPhone 6 Plus. I would make a couple of suggestions to make this app that much better: • At least allow the ability in settings to enable "snap" from page to page - Im not a huge fan of the endless scrolling. It would be good to know what "page of how may" Im on. It would also help me easily navigate back to where I left off the last time I read. • Format the story order like the print version - its nice to have the smaller stories peppered in with the bigger marque articles.

In app purchase to read....

= delete app.

Space Hog :/

This app took 3.6 gb of space in my phone. The app itself was ok, but it had to be deleted.

Beautiful way to experience great content

I got the Fast Company app because I never seemed to find the time to read the hard copy when I had it with me and always forgot it when I had the time to read it. I always had my iPad with me and cant believe it took me so long to figure out how easy subscribing through the app would be! The app is well designed, easy to use, beautiful images and graphics and has all the great content I expect.

Nice design, poor engineering decisions.

I really enjoy the reading experience for this app, but I cant believe it takes up 3.3GB on my phone. There as so many ways this could have been done better. At least give me a setting to cap the space or turn off caching. I cant justify leaving this on my phone for that amount of space. Deleting.

Acces Denied to Active Subscriber

I love the app but I am currently an active subscriber to fast company who cant access the app with my login and password. What gives?!

I subscribe but cannot log in

Active subscriptions are denied access if you subscribed through iTunes. Pretty frustrating.

Unable to login and access

Sent numerous emails to customer care with no positive results. After 3 attempts still unable to login. Waste of time and money, ironic considering theyre a business magazine.

Way to go! *update*

This app continues to impress. I thought I would come through and update my review. I stand by my initial review and have since take to using the Fast Company magazine app as well. This has by far become one of my favorite mediums to consume my reading. 30 minutes in and I love it already. There are few magazines that can publish an app and get it right. Fast Company does not disappoint. This app is quick and responsive. Articles are just "there" and the interface is smooth. I can see me using this on a daily basis to catch up on lots of reading. And I look forward to seeing how subscriptions are integrated into the app as well. Great Job!

Wrong experience

This is too slow and didnt think about current peoples reading experience. I will be happy this is like Facebook instant article.
